About me

I am Marisol Velez, a Licensed National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor and a dedicated advocate for well-being and mental health. With my background in Psychology and Counseling, I have spent my career supporting individuals and families across the lifespan. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in crisis intervention, trauma recovery, suicide prevention, supporting the unhoused, domestic violence, and advocacy for the oppressed and underserved.

My personal journey as a survivor of intimate partner violence and trauma brings a unique perspective to my work, fueling my passion for trauma- and culturally-informed care. I share my expertise through engaging presentations on parenting, trauma, healthy relationships, and interpersonal violence, inspiring audiences with my insights.

In organizational settings, I offer transformative leadership, guiding teams through invigorating workshops and strategic planning sessions to cultivate a culture of growth and collaboration.
